A Day in Cape May

One random Saturday, my best friend and I decided to spend a day in Cape May, NJ. We are both Jersey girls, but neither one of us has ever been to Cape May. She asked if I wanted to tag along and take pics, and I’ve never been one to turn down a day at the beach. It took an hour and a half to get from my house to my friend’s house, then another hour and a half to get to Cape May.

It was absolutely beautiful. The quaint little streets, the historic houses, the lighthouse, the beach…..perfection. We took pictures everywhere that looked like a good photo op. We managed to stay on schedule, we made it back to her place a little after 8pm and I made it home at 11pm. So now we’re making a new tradition for one random Saturday every summer will be our annual Day in Cape May.

After none of the restaurants in Cape May opened until 4pm, we opted for dinner in Wildwood instead. It was only a 10-15 minute drive from Cape May. We ended the day with dinner at the Boathouse Restaurant in Wildwood. Very nice restaurant, I would definitely go back. The food and drinks were really good and reasonably priced. I had clams for my appetizer and a lobster tail for my entree. The seaside vibes were nice and the service was good.

Love and Vibes,
Nichole Naomi
