The Deciding Factor

December 2010, after a bad breakup, I cut off all my hair. I wore my hair in braids for 18 months and watched endless YouTube videos on natural hair products and tutorials. Like many new naturals, I went through a million hair products until I found what worked for my thick 4c hair. I can now say that I have a solid holy grail stash.

My staples are:
As I Am Cowash
Mielle Organics Pomegranate and Honey Shampoo
Camille Rose Almond Jai twisting butter
Camille Rose Moisture Milk
Camille Rose Curl Aide moisture butter
Camille Rose growth oil
Eden Body Works coco shea curl defining creme
Alikay Naturals (everything)
*all of the above can be found at Target*

After 9 years of ups and downs, in August 2019 I got my hair cut in to the perfect tapered cut. I went through one pic after another on Instagram and Pinterest until I found exactly what I wanted. I am a juice for fullness and volume at the top and low and slick on the sides and back.

Next on my list is to try braids, twists, and faux locs on a tapered cut. As usual I have been going thru a million pictures on Pinterest and screen shot a few that I like.

Love and Vibes,
Nichole Naomi
